Can you help a sweet dog in need?
This handsome boy was abandoned in the middle of nowhere with the use of only three legs and shot by BB’s. He met his angel near the river. This is where River’s story begins. Happy, sweet and deserving of a second chance, he needs your help to make it happen. He is in desperate need of an amputation of his front left leg and his vet bills are mounting. With this surgery, he will be able to run and play like any normal dog.

UPDATE:  8/9/11 - River has completed his surgery for removal of his front leg.  He'll remain at the vet office until tomorrow, and then will begin rehabilitation and therapy.
