Dakota's owners just don't have the time to spend with him that he needs. He is a family/pack animal that needs companionship...both human and other dogs, preferably his size. We recently found out (after talking to Lisa) that what we believed to be separation anxiety is actually and most likely boredom. He does very well when occupied with a giant bone...especially "joint" bones, but when left outside for long periods of time without attention, he will howl. He is great on leash, loves people, and has great manners. He comes back when called. Dakota is 4 years old, neutered, has a microchip, and is current on shots. He is well house trained, won't chew or destroy anything when left alone. For more information |
